Applications

Dual Refractometer X-PRO is used to separate natural stones from other synthetic or imitation stones.

Using one available method of refractive index, the refractometer measures the speed of light in the stone compared to the speed of light in air. It is also an indicator of doubly refractive stones in the cases of two given measurements.
